In July 2015, ALDO reached a significant milestone by hosting our district's first student-led science exhibition. This event showcased our students' learning depth and strengthened the bond between parents, the community, and their children's educational journey. Community Engagement: Our science and social studies exhibitions bridge classroom learning and community understanding. Educational Field Trips: Thanks to your contributions, we've expanded our students' horizons through educational field trips. For many, these excursions mark their first venture beyond the community. Local trips to farms, pottery workshops, and specialty markets offer practical insights into various aspects of life.
Our annual national trips have become a highlight for students, introducing them to agricultural innovations, technology, and farming practices like piggery, fish farming, and rabbit breeding.

Empowering Learners through Community projects
ALDO prioritizes making education relevant and meaningful by integrating community projects into the curriculum. Through project-based learning, students develop problem-solving skills and environmental awareness, addressing community needs collaboratively.
Project-Based Learning: During July and August, grade three and grade six students participate in community projects, identifying issues and implementing solutions. This hands-on approach fosters collaboration and empowers students to impact their communities directly.
Community Engagement: Regular community engagement sessions encourage students to discuss and address local issues, fostering a sense of responsibility and connection. Past projects include initiatives promoting handwashing, waste management, tree planting, and health center cleanliness.
