Support Education and Community Development

ALDO’s volunteer board incurs zero overhead costs. Every dollar received goes directly to the school. ALDO is grateful for your generosity and for choosing to provide the gift of education to 400+ children and their communities. Your support is vital in building a brighter future for our students and community.

Construction Fund:

Your generous donations directly contribute to infrastructure construction and improvements.

For every $20 donated, we can purchase a bag of cement.
A contribution of $15,000 enables us to construct and furnish one classroom.
A school solar system can be installed for $8,000.

Education Fund:

We are dedicated to enhancing our school's essential resources, such as textbooks, stationery, desks, and chairs. Your support is invaluable in ensuring our students have access to the resources they need to thrive in their education.

With every $90 donated, we can buy five books for either a teacher or a student.
A donation of $600 allows us to purchase educational materials benefiting the entire school community.
The purchase of a school van, which facilitates transportation for students and staff, requires $40,000.

Student Fund:

A school fund provides access to essential resources such as school books, uniforms, and shoes for our students. Your support is instrumental in breaking down barriers to education and empowering children to reach their full potential.

For every $35 donated, we can provide a child with a school uniform or a pair of shoes, ensuring they have the necessary attire for their education.
Your contribution of $305 can cover the cost of providing school lunch for a child for an entire year, ensuring they receive the nutrition they need to thrive academically.

Teacher Fund:

ALDO would like to improve the welfare of our teachers by ensuring fair compensation and providing adequate living accommodations. Your generosity is crucial in empowering our educators and ensuring our school's continued success.

For every $200 donated, we can cover one teacher's monthly salary, ensuring they are fairly compensated for their dedication and hard work.
A contribution of $300 allows us to cover the monthly salary of a headteacher, recognizing their leadership and commitment to our school community.
Your support of $35,000 enables us to construct accommodation for our teachers, providing them with a comfortable living space.

A Community Development fund:

We are embarking on a crucial initiative to enhance farming practices, including constructing a food warehouse, acquiring a grain mill, and providing vocational skills. Your support is instrumental in transforming lives and communities, enabling us to build a brighter and more sustainable future for all. Thank you for your generosity and commitment to our cause.

With every $350 donated, we can provide a family with a hybrid goat, offering them a sustainable source of income and nutrition.
A donation of $1,600 enables us to purchase a dairy cow, further empowering families with long-term economic stability and access to dairy products.
